Website pricing, published

Most agencies make you sit through a discovery call before they will name a number. We would rather you knew now whether we are in your range, so here it is.

Book a scoping call
  • Every quote is fixed before work begins — the number we agree is the number you pay.
  • You own the source code, the domain, and the hosting account outright.
  • Hosting runs roughly $0–20/month depending on traffic, billed by the host directly, not by us.
  • Maintenance plans start at $99/month and are entirely optional.

How a project actually runs

Five steps from first call to launch. You know the price before we start and you can see the work in progress at any point.

1Day 1

Discovery call

A 20-minute conversation about what your business does, who buys from you, and what the site needs to achieve. No charge, and no obligation to continue.

2Within 48 hours

Written proposal

You receive a fixed price, a scope of exactly what is included, and a delivery date. If something is outside the quote, it says so plainly rather than surfacing later as a surprise.

3Week 1–2

Design

Wireframes first, so the structure gets argued about before anyone is attached to a color. Then full designs you approve before a line of code is written.

4Week 2–4

Build

We build on a staging URL you can visit any time to watch it come together. You review as we go rather than seeing the whole thing at the end.

5Launch day onward

Launch and support

We handle the domain, hosting, SSL, analytics, and Search Console setup. Then 30 days of support included while you settle in.

What we commit to, in writing

Hiring a developer you found online takes a certain amount of faith. These four commitments are how we try to earn it before you have paid us anything.

Talk to us, free

The quote is the price

We put the scope and the number in writing before anything starts. If you later ask for something outside it, we tell you the cost first and you decide.

A date, not a vague estimate

Your proposal includes a delivery date. If we are going to miss it, you hear that from us early rather than discovering it on the day.

Revisions until the design is right

Design revisions are included through the build on Business and Custom projects. We would rather get it right than deliver something you quietly dislike.

No lock-in, ever

Code, domain, and hosting are in your name and under your control. Leaving us should cost you nothing but a conversation, and that keeps us honest.

  • Because the word website covers everything from a five-page brochure site to a multi-tenant application with billing. The main drivers are the number of pages, whether it needs e-commerce or user accounts, how much custom design is involved, and whether content needs writing. A quote is only meaningful once someone has understood which of those apply to you.

  • Yes. The price in your proposal is the price you pay for the scope in that proposal. If you later ask for something outside it, we tell you what that costs before doing the work, and you decide. We do not send surprise invoices at the end.

  • Hosting and your domain, which together usually run $0 to $20 per month and roughly $15 per year respectively, billed by those providers directly rather than through us. Maintenance plans start at $99 per month and are optional. There are no licence fees, and nothing stops working if you stop paying us.

  • Yes, standard terms are 50% to begin and 50% on completion before launch. For larger projects we can split the payment across milestones tied to delivery stages. The schedule is agreed in writing with the proposal.

  • We handle small jobs too, quoted hourly or as a fixed fee depending on what it is. If the work is genuinely tiny, we will tell you rather than pushing you toward a full rebuild you do not need.

  • Yes, we offer reduced rates for registered non-profits and charities. Mention it when you get in touch and we will factor it into the quote.

Not sure which tier fits?

Describe the project and we will tell you honestly which one you need — including if that is the cheapest one.
